Microsoft 365 Planner
microsoft.comMicrosoft 365 Planner helps teams organize work with plans, buckets, and tasks that stay easy to view and update. It supports clear ownership and shared visibility, making it simple to track progress as work moves. Powered by the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, Planner is widely used for day-to-day project coordination across teams and organizations.
When Microsoft 365 Planner is connected, BOBs can turn project intent into structured work—creating plans, buckets, and tasks with the right ownership and priority context. As tasks are added or responsibilities shift, BOBs keep Planner synced by updating task details and maintaining an accurate view of what each person is responsible for.
BOBs also “listen” for key Planner events, so you can run smoother operations: when new plans, tasks, or task assignments land in Planner, BOBs can respond by coordinating downstream actions in your other business tools (e.g., triggering reminders, updating stakeholders, or preparing summaries) while preserving Planner as your single source of truth for task visibility.
Available actions and events include: Update Task; List User Tasks; Create Task; Create Plan; Create Bucket. Events: New Plan Created; New Task Created; New Task Assigned to User.
