When BOBs connect to Terraform Cloud, they can kick off infrastructure updates by creating new Terraform runs and then continuously track progress by listing runs and monitoring run status. This turns “infrastructure change management” into an operational job BOBs can own—helping you keep delivery moving, reduce manual checking, and ensure the right stakeholders get the right updates when plans and applies complete or stall.
With run awareness, BOBs can also coordinate next steps across your pipeline: for example, detecting that a new run has been created, summarizing what changed, flagging failures early, and triggering follow-up actions in connected tools (like ticketing, documentation updates, or deployment approvals) once a run reaches the expected state. Best for teams running frequent infra changes across dev/test/prod who want visibility and accountability without constant dashboard polling.
